Reaction to infamous Josie Cunningham – “She paints a bad picture of women who have had an abortion”.

Earlier last month Josie Cunningham‘s decision to abort her unborn child sparked viral outrage. This is because she claims to the media that it is for the sole purpose of securing her place on Channel 5 reality show Big Brother. Josie told The Mirror –

“This time next year I won’t have a baby. Instead I’ll be famous, driving a bright pink Ranger Rover and buying a big house, nothing will get in my way”.

Last year 16.5% of women made the painful decision to take the life of their unborn child. Katie (name has been changed for privacy) who had an abortion two years ago told us her opinion of Josie’s actions.

“Although it wasn’t a decision I took lightly, I was far too young and had so much going on like University and work, it didn’t take me long to realise an abortion was the right thing to do. I wouldn’t have been able to give a child any good kind of upbringing at the time either”.

When hearing about Josie’s story, Katie was outraged.

“She paints such a bad picture of women who actually have real serious reasons for having an abortion, even though it was the only option I saw for myself, it was still such a hard process to go through, to think she made the decision for such selfish reasons, and seemingly so easily is sickening”.

“She sounds like such an attention seeker, in a way I’m quite glad she’s not bringing another child up if that’s the sort of person she’s like”.

Josie, who already has two children, is no newbie to media attention. She has previously hit headlines for getting a £4,800 breast enlargement on the NHS to fulfill her ambition of becoming a glamour model.

She recently tweeted in response to the backlash, claiming Big Brother bosses still haven’t ruled her out of the show’s line up.

So, I have just been told that I haven’t been definitely ruled out of Big Brother! UNLUCKY HATERS! “How could we” is not “No we’re Not!” 🙂

Recent reports claim Josie has fled from her home in Leeds after receiving death threats; and has recently made a u-turn in her abortion claims, telling The Mirror she ‘felt the baby kick and couldn’t go through with it.’
